Heya! I'm Beto. My preferred pronoun is they/them, but he/him is fine.

I'm a software engineer working on Apache Superset, and I make music under the name The Fishermen & the Priestess.

I'm a big fan of open source and the fediverse. I run a few ActivityPub instances:

• lemmy.studio, a Lemmy instance focused on music-related communities.
• photos.thefishermenandthepriestess.com, social.thefishermenandthepriestess.com, and songs.thefishermenandthepriestess.com are my Pixelfed, Pleroma, and Funkwhale instances, respectively.
• 2c.taoetc.org is my personal Mastodon instance.

I also run a small music label that started as a joke.
